The SAPLF has a strong tradition of funding public art for the Library System. Dale Chihuly's "Fiesta Tower" is a centerpiece of the downtown Central Library's mezzanine atrium space, and a popular favorite.
The SAPLF is a socially well-knit group, with high participation in fundraising and community events. Candid photos tell the story.
Bringing visual interest to a dry set of statistics is a challenge. To keep the reader on the financials, we incorporated a playful take on the pie graph, supported with bubble charts that present key metrics in an informal, engaging way.
The Library Foundation Annual Report for 2013 is an award winner! The project will be published in Graphic Design USA in 2015.
