Friend and longtime design client Caroline Matthews has developed a unique brand of custom shirtmaking - classic guayaberas made to order in natural fiber menswear fabrics. She envisions her future custom shirt client as younger, hipper, and ever more tuned to lifestyle and luxury. Our photo shoots were located at The Pearl, San Antonio's downtown neighborhood of unique living, retail, and restaurants, and home to Dos Carolina's San Antonio studio. Casting friends and customers, our photo shoot captures the casual elegance of the shirts and the texture of the historic Pearl neighborhood setting.
A "brand tune" for younger audiences includes the clear tagline, "The Custom Guayabera," and shows younger faces in an urban lifestyle setting. Design and typography bridges "hipster chic" with tradition, making the "both/and" serif and sans serif type hybrid a seamless fit.
